These words are unspoken
They are kept hidden way beneath
In the realm of my heart
In the depth of my soul
Where love calls home.

These words are unspoken
And yet they are clear as day
As vivid as your vision watching the birds fly by
And well stored in that mushy part of my brain
Where the sweet smelling fragrance of your action remains

These words are filled with emotions
Conjured when my heart bore witness to your grace
Created to imagine the sanctity of your embrace
As you touched life after life with gladness and love
And I became your ultimate victim and victor

These words are unspoken and will remain so
They are the silent witnesses of your beauty and charm
Wrapped in ribbons of warmth
Sealed tight with privilege
Of knowing such a one, the only, you

And as time go by and we grow old
When your hair turns gray, when I grow bald
When we all fall prey to senility
I want you to open the words wrapped in ribbons
Release and let them free before we close our eyes.
