ok this is how my filter works so u dont get booted!!!!
this
is the path for the filter it will work the same in the new yahoo
Messenger.cut the filter from where u saved it and paste to in yahoo
messenger folder which u will find here i put the path to make it easy.
(if prompt make sure u say u wanna replace it)


C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger

OK TIME TO SETUP:

8) in ur yahoo messenger click on LOGIN

8) click on PREFERENCES

~after each step in prefernces make sure to click apply)

8) in the GENERAL tab

~show yahoo! helper in my friend list and show yahoo! insider when i login ... make sure to uncheck these boxs.

8) ok now click on the MESSAGES tab.

~uncheck - (enable IMVironments).

8) ok now FILE TRANSFER

~ when other people send files to me: (never accept files from anyone).
~ when other people try to get files from me: (never allow others to download files from me).
~ uncheck (automatically sho progress window when people get files from me).
~ port number to use it is set to 80 set it to 0
~ number of users that can get my files at the same time: (1).


8) now click on ALERTS AND SOUNDS

~ uncheck enable sound alerts

8) ok now click CHAT

~ put a check in (ignore chat invitations).
~ set the WORD FILTER to (strong).


8) last click PRIVACY.

~ put the check in (ignore anyone who is not on my friend list).
~ the put a check in (never show me as idle).
~ then put a check in (do not show my friends how long i have been idle).
~ the should b a check in (login as invisible (other cannot see me online).
~ now un check (let my friends see when im playing games).
~ last step to put a check in (do not allow users to see me online and contact me).
